The Korea Stacked Manufacturer's Association (K-AMUG, association president Joo Seung-hwan) will work with Korea Film University (President Yoo Jae-won) to foster talent through practical industrial 3D printing education.
The two organizations announced on the 23rd that they signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement to foster and develop local industries. The association plans to open industrial 3D printing education and certification courses at Korea Film University and cooperate in the 3D printing education project.
The purpose of this agreement is to link industry-academic-linked education and field practice, strengthen job and start-up capabilities through a practical curriculum using 3D printing in line with the 4th Industrial Revolution and the Korea Film University's industry-academic linkage strategy course.
To this end, education such as general 3D printing education, medical implant production education and technology transfer business, metal 3D printing mass production technology education, 3D printing manned drones, and 3D printing jet engine production will be conducted.
In addition, K-AMUG plans to open a 3D printing industry-academic cooperation certificate course at Korea Film University in connection with the overseas certification project being promoted with the China 3D Printing Association and contribute to revitalizing employment links at home and abroad. In the future, it will continue to open a curriculum to help each individual improve their technology development by preparing a project program along with theoretical education.
K-AMUG Chairman Joo Seung-hwan said, "The association, which has been striving to improve the global network composition and education method related to laminate manufacturing, has expanded its education business with domestic universities," adding, "As Cheongchulam says, the association will spare no support and efforts to lead the global era."
Starting with the university's industry-academic education and qualification curriculum, we will cultivate high-quality human resources through active development and operation of curriculums in line with the 4th industrial revolution, and further develop industrial-specific human resources suitable for the metal 3D printing market in the future, said Yoo Se-moon.
Meanwhile, K-AMUG, which is striving to cultivate high-quality manpower suitable for the era of the 4th industrial revolution, has trained the general public and retirees as industrial metal 3D printing personnel through customized projects for local industries four times since 2018.
