From December 29th to 30th, 2021, KEIT and Merain Co., Ltd.
We conducted a high-tech new material-based 3D printing professional training project (training professionals through DfAM-applied design and metal 3D printing production practice).
Several students from Inha University, Chonbuk National University, Ulsan University, and Kyungbook National University participated.
In addition, Lee Sang-hyun, head of Kolon Industries, and Jeong Chun-ki, deputy director of Megagen Implant, trained as external instructors.
Theoretical training was conducted on basic metal 3D printer theory, PBF type metal 3D printer DAVID 1.0, and understanding metal powder.
In addition, training on the use of Magics S/W was conducted.
Magics is Materialise's S/W used not only in our DAVID 3D printer but also in general-purpose metal 3D printers.
In addition, the actual metal 3D printer is shaped, and the equipment operation practice is conducted with DAVID 1.0 equipment owned by Merain Co., Ltd.
Post-job processing was performed with printed printouts.
